Month: June 2020

A Very Blah Day

I really don’t have much to say today. Or night, considering it’s almost midnight.

On the Fedora Workstation front, things are running smooth so far. I’ve even gotten a little comfortable using the command line to install software and check on resources being used. I don’t NEED to use the command line for software, but it’s nice to get familiar with the inner workings.

The only thing I don’t like so far? Is the fact that on my MacBook Pro (13″, mid-2017 model), there’s no option for fractional scaling. I’ve tried several command line “hacks”, but none worked. That’s ok though, I’m not letting that get in the way of my testing for this month.

Oh well. Until next time, have a great rest of the night.

So, it’s been 3 months since I last posted. A lot has been going on with me in that time frame, as well as the rest of the world.

However, I am back and I am ready to start posting again now that things around here are getting back to normal.

Well, as normal as it can get, anyway.

This month starts my “1 post per day” goal for the month of June, which includes this one.

June also starts my “30 days with Linux” challenge, which I will definitely be writing more about in the coming weeks. I’ve chosen to completely erase the hard drive on my 13″ MacBook Pro and installed Fedora Workstation 32 as my daily driver.

But, more on that later.

Until tomorrow, hope all is well with you, dear reader.
